Mehdi Ibn Brahim
Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship
I am an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Management, Strategy and Innovation Department (MSI) at KU Leuven.
My research interests lie at the intersection of entrepreneurship and strategy. I am particularly interested in attraction of strategic human capital in resources constrained organizations, and the differences in strategic implications for employees and firms. Empirically, I rely on both experiments and population-level linked employer-employee data from Portugal and Denmark to explore jobseekers–employers’ interactions.
Overall, my work aims to contribute to the strategic human capital literature, the literature on the future of work, and the entrepreneurship literature. It has implications for hiring managers, jobseekers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers.
